Video meeting

The first video meeting between the pupils from the primary schools “Sts. Cyril and Methodius” - Veles and “St. Jovan” – Livereaux, Lower Normandy, France took place on January 15, 2010.

This meeting is organized at the very beginning of the implementation of the program for support of the decentralization in Macedonia from the Lower Normandy region of France. The video meeting was organized by the FOCUS Foundation from Veles and the Public digital club from Livereaux.

During the video meeting, participants exchanged information about their cities, their hobbies, favorite food, song, etc. Pupils from Livereaux had special interest and enthusiasm, asking various questions about Macedonia and Veles as new areas where children of their age also live.

There was a delightful reaction to both groups' performances of songs for children in English. Participants from both groups exchanged contacts and agreed on upcoming meetings with the use of ICT technology.
